Thomas Kahn is an adjunct professor at the school of political management at George Washington University. He is also senior advisor to the Cormac Group, a political consultancy firm. Prior to that, he was the head of legislative affairs for three years at a major labor union. Tom worked for more than three decades as a senior staff member for the US House of Representatives. For 20 of those years, he was the staff director of the House Budget Committee. Tom is an attorney and practiced law at Sullivan and Cromwell before coming to Capitol Hill. Tom has been a member of the board of Governors of the American Jewish Committee for more than 20 years and has served for eight years as chair of AJC Latino and Latin American Institute. He is also on the board of the Israel Policy Forum. Tom is married to Susana and they are proud parents of two sons, Ben and Daniel.
