Susan Wagner

Susan Wagner was raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish family and attended Jewish day school through High School.  After retiring from a 25-year career in law and government, she received a master’s degree in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary.  Her capstone involved a study of Jewish Identity in the 21st century. At 66, she has chosen to devote herself to Jewish and political causes and where they overlap, all the better. Her education taught her the fundamental principles of being a Jew– that we are to be a light unto the world so as to make it better for all. She is a graduate of Barnard College, NYU Law, and the Jewish Theological School. She is married to Alan Klinger, an attorney, and she has three children and one grandchild. She lives in Manhattan and the Hamptons. She serves on the JDCA Board and is the Founder and Chair of Markers For Democracy. (https://markersfordemocracy.org/)
